Truly.

There’s something grounding about knowing our intention is simple — to reach as many superhuman small business owners as we can.

And yes, I said superhuman. Because if you’re building something right now, especially in this climate, you are not only a badass, but you are doing a lot.

As life happens.

As tech changes

As layoffs happen.

I keep noticing something interesting.

There are more Executive Assistant roles being posted.

Not less.

That’s not random.

This role — whether people fully recognize it or not — is one of the most human roles inside a business.

It requires judgment.
Discretion.
Emotional intelligence.
Pattern recognition.
Timing.
Trust.

It’s not task management.
It’s human alignment.

And if we do move toward a world where AI handles more execution… shouldn’t we be prioritizing human connection even more?

I’ve spent 12+ years in this work — over 40 years combined across the women beside me — refining how to support leaders in the most thoughtful, professional, and efficiently scrappy way possible.

Not louder.
Not busier.
More intentional.

My goal with Beside isn’t to “add support.”
It’s to elevate the human side of running a business.

Because successful businesses aren’t built on software alone.
